The Lemur, Penguin, Madagascar and Central Park

On NPR.org this morning, a story about how Lemur’s made it to Madagascar. Long story short and a picture of a scary Lemur, scientist concluded after using computer models that the Lemur’s made it to Madagascar by floating three weeks on some type of vegetation or log from Africa. They say this only happened once or twice a century because ocean currents had to reverse in order for them to float to Madagascar, and not elsewhere.
More on this by Christopher Joyce here: Did Madagascar’s Menagerie Float From Africa?
The real question here, is how they all got to New York City’s Central Park. Did they eat some crazy berries? No. Did they float? No. did they fly? Of course! It was the penguins of Madagascar that got them there. Those pesky penguins. Well, they also floated.
Smile and wave boys, smile and wave.

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog, “mi” blog, kind of like “bi” because I am not really sure which way it swings! But we will get there!
